What is Ultimate Governor?

Ultimate Governor is an exciting new Poker game mode where players compete directly against the dealer.

The goal of Ultimate Governor is simple: beat the dealer in a standard hand of Texas Hold’em.

This fresh game mode offers faster gameplay, bigger payouts, and introduces Foxy, our brand-new dealer.

Where can I play Ultimate Governor?

You can access Ultimate Governor by navigating to the Home Menu and selecting the Ultimate Governor tab. Please note that you must reach at least Level 29 to unlock and play Ultimate Governor.

How does a game of Ultimate Governor work?

Ultimate Governor follows the same hand rankings as regular Texas Hold’em, but the betting works differently. The goal is to make the best five-card poker hand and beat the dealer.

To start, you must place an Ante bet. You have also the choice to make an optional side bet called Trips bet. The Trips bet is an exciting side bet that has nothing to do with whether you win or lose the main game. Even if the dealer doesn’t qualify, your Trips bet is based only on your own hand. If you get Three of a Kind or better, you win a payout according to the Trips payout table. The Ultimate Governor's Trips bet is automatically set at half of your Ante. However, you can adjust it anytime during the betting process by clicking the Trips button.

After this, every player and the dealer are dealt two cards face down. The player can look at their cards and decide to either place a Play bet (4x their Ante) or check.

Next, the dealer places three community cards on the table. If you haven’t bet yet, you can now place a Play bet (2x your Ante) or check again. Then, two more community cards are dealt. If you still haven’t placed a Play bet, you must either fold (losing your Ante) or bet 1x your Ante.

Once all bets are placed, the dealer reveals their cards. The best five-card hand wins!

Betting Rounds and Game Play

Ante Phase & Pre-Flop

At the start of the hand, select your Ante from your chip stack to add it to the table. The dealer then deals the 2 private cards each, and the betting phase begins. During the pre-flop, you can either check or place a bet of 4x your ante.

Flop

The dealer reveals the flop. If you haven’t placed a bet yet, you can now choose to check or bet 2x your ante.

Turn & River

Next, the dealer reveals the turn and river. If you haven’t placed a bet during the pre-flop or flop, you can now choose to fold or bet 1x your ante.

Qualification Phase

The dealer reveals their hand. To qualify, the dealer needs a pair of 4's or better. If the dealer qualifies, the Showdown phase begins. If the dealer doesn’t qualify, your ante and play bets are returned. If the dealer qualifies the game moves to the showdown.

Showdown Phase

Both players reveal their hands. If your hand beats the dealer’s, your play bet is paid 1:1, and your ante is paid based on the strength of your hand.

How do Ante payouts work?

If you win against the dealer, your ante will be paid based on the strength of your hand. Check the Pay Table below to see the payout for your hand. Winning bets always pay 1:1, while your ante is paid according to the value of your hand.

How do Trips Bet payouts work?

The trips bet is an optional side bet, which pays out if you hit three of a kind or better, regardless of whether or not the dealer has qualified. The trips bet is paid according to the strength of your hand.
